Maritime logistics is the gateway to the market in the worldwide logistic chain. This chain involves the interface "port" with all its services as well as transport and handling procedures, value-added services and the communications between the different partners of the transport chains and clients.

The mariLOG is unique. The congress was first introduced to the market as "Business Convention" and meeting point for decision makers and professionals in 2000 and was successfully developed further in 2002. Whereas the maritime logistics are considered a secondary subject by most logistics events, it is the main topic at the mariLOG. Updated analyses and opinions from port operators and logistics companies show the need for and great interest in a special trade event for maritime logistics.
